  • We will complete questionnaire to gather pertinent family law case information: case number, full client details (bank accounts etc), and provisional date for court if known.
  • For your client details we will complete a comprehensive checklist to gather all relevant data during the initial meeting.
  • We will also discuss how you want any documents gathered or reports written and stored during the process. Do you prefer in paper form, or in pdf format? What layout preference or sequence required for affidavits pack? How many copies are needed to be printed and bound and or stored? ​

  • 1st visit to applicant / respondent location within Ireland to explain the process.
  • Identification / notification of any missing statements needing recovery.
  • Approach to institution for missing documents with written consent.
  • Reorganising bank statements / documents into order for case management purposes.
  • Preparation of affidavit of means.
  • Preparation of affidavit of welfare (if applicable).
  • 2nd visit to applicant / respondent location within Ireland to return documents, and discuss the findings.
  • Once agreed, have the affidavits drawn up in correct format and arrange to be notarised.
  • Provide your client with advice on how to budget following the separation / divorce.
  • Deliver completed affidavit of means and welfare and supporting vouching documentation for inclusion in case file.
  • Collect outstanding balance.

Single Affidavit review (Means or Welfare) service - €500 * 


  • It is assumed that the applicant / respondent have understood the process and a completed affidavit of welfare and / or means has been received from the other party.
  • Thoroughly exam all supporting documents for reasonability and accuracy
  • Produce a report in duplicate, highlighting potential under / over statements or discrepancies and suggested remedies where applicable, for discussion with your client
  • Provide your client with advice on how to budget following the separation / divorce.
  • Collect outstanding balance
